I agree that this is your best post yet, though I’ve enjoyed them all. I feel a need to warn you to be careful in Iowa; the Iowegians are a strang lot. In many ways, they remind me of Hobbits. Ha ha ha!

Hello Ryan,

hope all is well for you buddy, I also met you at Slippery’s Bar in Wabasha, MN. at that point we had just returned from a CCR concert in Stillwater, MN. that was AWESOME…until we lost our anchor among all the party boats…luckily it was found and all the party goers applauded…it was very funny…Thank you Pat …I gave you the pin, bandages and neosporem to help extract and clean the sliver in your foot…I hope it is better and does not get infected. I also helped you rig your bed sheet/ sail I think that was a great idea and it looks like it helped alot when the winds are in your favor.
My thought are with you….Enjoy the journey

I am the girl who spoke with you at Slipperys while the grandkids were throwing rocks in the water. I have been checking your website and am enjoying your logs. I am sorry I couldnt give you more money than I did, but you are in our prayers for a safe journey, and sometimes that is more important. I will continue to follow your adventure. At least you arent crazy enough to go live in an old bus in Alaska, with no one knowing where you are. Keep up the good work, and God’s Speed!
